Our AP laser CO2 lasers have a power range of 150 watts. The CO2 laser technology uses a gas mix to create a reaction and produce a laser beam. The beam then passes through a series of mirrors and lenses to vaporize the material. Depending on the beam focus, it can cut or engrave. The laser is controlled by a two-axis router arm with a bed that lifts the materials up and down. Our laser bed is 28” x 16”. However, if you have a larger design in mind we can build it in sections to create a bigger project. We also have the capabilities to engrave on cylindrical objects with our rotary tool and can engrave up to 8” in diameter.
The SN2816 laser cutter is an open architecture laser cutter. It features a 28” x 16” work area, removable laser top, EZ-Leveling System, and a high power 100w laser tube.
The SN2816 laser cutting and engraving machine is ideal for engraving smaller items such as personalized gifts, awards and trophies, jewelry ornaments, granite or marble urns pet memorials, granite markers, leather goods, wood pieces, wine bottles (rotary attachment needed) and much more.
It’s patented open architecture, and removable top allows for laser engraving larger, heavier items that don’t fit in the traditional ‘boxed-up’ laser system.
